KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has blocked the payment of sales tax refunds and input tax adjustments to suspended companies.
Sources told Customs Today that it is clearly mentioned in the sales tax law that the companies whose sales tax registration is suspended cannot claim for sales tax refund and input tax adjustment.
The FBR has issued stock refunds some weeks ago, but rejects the refunds of some persons whose sales/ purchase were suspicious or suspended.
