Faisalabad ASO seizes non-duty paid Toyota Vitz

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) has confiscated a non-duty paid Toyota vitz car bearing registration No. LEE- 14-408 model 2011 worth Rs 1.5 million.
Sources informed Customs Today that Collector Customs Faisalabad Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhary received secret information about non-duty vehicles who are plying on roads. He formed a team comprising Muhammad Javed Mehmood (Superintendent), Sardar Muhammad (Deputy Superintendent), Masood Saeed Chohan, Abdul Jabbar (inspectors), Khalid Dogar, Zulifqar Ali Awan, Liaqat Ali, Israr Ahmad (Sepoys).
The ASO team intercepted Toyota Vitz near 67-GB Sadhar Bypass Jhang Road and asked the owner of the vehicle who was identified as Amjad Hussain son of Azizul Haque to produce legal documents regarding the possession of vehicle but he failed to provide any relevant document.
ASO team seized the vehicle and forwarded the case to customs adjudication.
