FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) has collected Rs 2,422 million tax during January 2016, which is 97 percent of the assigned target of Rs 2,427 million.
Sources told Customs Today that the RTO has recovered Rs 1,440 million as income tax, Rs 987 million as sales tax and Rs 16 million under the head of federal excise duty.
This incredible progress was made due to dedicated efforts of Chief Commissioners Shad Muhammad and his team comprising of Commissioner, Additional Commissioners and other subordinate officers.
The Federal Board of Revenue has appreciated the performance of Regional Tax office Faisalabad and desired to continue this effort in the current month of 2016 as well.
