Collector Appeals summons Shujabad Weaving Mills over appeal against OnO

MULTAN: Shujabad Weaving Textile Mills has filed an appeal against Order-in-Original passed by Deputy Collector of Customs Adjudication.

According to details, Customs Collectorate Multan have detected misappropriation in the use of approved quantity of staple fabric under DTRE ( duty tax re-emission export). Customs have formed contravention against Shujabad Weaving Textile Mills after scrutiny of their record and forwarded case to Customs Adjudication .

However, the Customs Adjudication have settled the case after hearing in favor of the department by imposing fine on Shujabad Weaving Textile Mills.  The mills has filed an appeal against the decision of Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication. Collector Appeals has asked Customs Adjudication that why they cannot file appeal in terms of section 193 of the Customs act 1969.

Collector Appeals has asked them to appear for hearing along with relevant record of the case on February 17.
