Customs Court hears 17 cases including pre-arrest bail pleas

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 17 important cases on Thursday including pre-arrest bail pleas as well.

During the hearing a bail plea of four accused persons, the court adjourned their pleas for further hearings.

Post arrest pleas of Tahir Iqbal and Fazal Hussain were also scheduled for hearing but that was adjourned too for next schedule.  Cases including tax evasion, Customs, smuggling and narcotics were scheduled for the day. Cases of pre arrest bail pleas were also scheduled in the customs court for hearing.

Court also proceeded on statements and witnesses on four different cases on the day. Cases of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for the day.
