PM approves promotion of Customs, Inland Revenue bureaucrats to grade 22

LAHORE: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Friday has approved the promotion of Customs and Inland Revenue officers to grade 22.

According to a statement from the PM’s House, the prime minister approved the promotion of Raana Seerat (Punjab) and Rukhsana Yasmin (Punjab), coming from Inland Revenue Service. Nisar Muhammad Khan (KPK) and Rozi Khan Burki (FATA) of Pakistan Customs Service have also been promoted to grade 22.

The bureaucrats from other groups who have been promoted to the upper grade also included Audit and Accounts Service, Foreign Service, Police Service, Information, Commerce and Trade, Secretariat Groups and Pakistan Administrative Service.

The Prime Minister has approved the promotion of two officers of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service including Javaid Jehangir (Punjab) and Shagufta Khanum (Punjab).

The officers of Foreign Service of Pakistan who have been promoted included Muhammad Naeem (Punjab), Syed Ibne Abbas (Punjab), Naghmana Hashmi (Punjab) and Syed Abrar Hussain (KPK).
