KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to take disciplinary action against tax officials who have not submitted their income tax returns.

The Regional Tax Office sources told Customs Today that there are 55 such officials who had not submitted their income tax returns in the last several years. Sources said performance allowance of such officials has already been suspended. Disciplinary action would be taken against them if they did not submit their income tax returns, sources added.
