KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate Gwadar has recovered a huge quantity foreign origin alcohol and opium during a crackdown.
Sources informed Customs Today that Additional Collector Junaid Ahmad received information that a huge quantity of smuggled whiskey and opium is hidden in a godown which is located in Dewan area. He formed a team which raided the godown and recovered 350 bottles of whiskey and 10 kilograms of opium.
It is pertinent to mention here that no person was persent at the time of raid. Customs team seized the contraband goods and registered a case against accused persons.
