Forensic Lab conducts examination of 18 seized vehicles in Multan Dry Port, Customs House‏

MULTAN: The Forensic Laboratory experts have conducted examination of 18 seized vehicles in Multan Dry Port and Customs House.

The Customs Collectorate Multan has successfully conducted tests of the confiscated vehicles at Multan Dry Port and Multan Customs House. Three experts of the lab have carried out the examination which include Toyota Hilux Surf, Toyota Hiace, Honda Civic, Land Criuser, Vitz etc. The Forensic Lab reports a few vehicles were misplaced by the staff.

The Customs authorities are carrying out legal process for documentation of the confiscated vehicles. The Customs will decide whether the vehicles should be auctioned or dismantled. The experts have done comprehensive inspection of the seized vehicles during their inspection.

During examination their chassis number, engine parts and other configurations of the vehicles were examined closely by the experts. The lab examination reports will come out in one week and then customs will take decision about these seized vehicles.
