Gujranwala RTO serves notices on 300 tax defaulters

SIALKOT: Following the directions of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the Regional Tax Office Gujranwala has issued notices to 300 tax defaulters to recover outstanding dues.

Officials told Customs Today that the defaulters have not been paying taxes since long and now the FBR has warned them to clear their taxes within a month otherwise stern action will be taken against them.

They further said that FBR will seal their properties, impound vehicles and confiscate their other items including passports; credit cards etc if they failed to pay the taxes during the said time period.
