Chairman FBR Nisar hears case of Chemical Examiner Shamsur Rehman

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad has personally heard the case of Chemical Examiner Shamsur Rehman. Shamsur Rehman is facing charges of misconduct while performing his official duties.

Inquiry officer decided the case against the official and said the all charges against Shamur Rehman were proved to be true and recommends levy of heavy fine on him. While on the other hand, Shamsur Rehman said that hte inquiry officer did not heard his case properly and decided the case as personal grudge. He appealed to the chairman to personally hear his case.

Chairman FBR Nisar Mohammad allowed the concerned official to explain his position. He asked several questions to Shamsur Rehman during hearing.  He assured the concerned official that his case will be decided after examining all the evidences against him, and purely on merit basis.
