ISLAMABAD: A single bench of the Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-II, comprising of Muhammad Nasir Khan (Member Technical) will hear a case on Friday seeking release of vehicle from Collectorate of Customs, Islamabad.
Muhammad Usmanul Haq, the appellant, had filed the case before the tribunal seeking release of vehicle auctioned by an embassy in Islamabad in 1983.
Haq, who claims to be owner of the vehicle, had pleaded the tribunal to order customs authorities to release his vehicle since he had paid the due amount for the Toyota Corolla, model 78.
During the previous hearings, the department had sought time from tribunal in order to submit related documents. Advocate, Saddiqa Bibi had filed the case at tribunal on behalf of Usmanul Haq.
