KARACHI: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation authorities foiled an attempt to smuggle three non-duty paid vehicles to Afghanistan and also impounded two chassis frames.
Sources informed Customs Today that customs authorities received credible information that an attempt will be made to smuggle non-duty paid vehicles to Afghanistan, after which he immediately constituted a raiding party. The customs team intercepted a Mazda truck and asked the driver of these vehicle to produce legal documents regarding possession of vehicles.
It was revealed during checking that all the documents of vehicles are forge. Customs team also seized two chassis and arrested two accused persons.
