KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate Preventive has foiled a bid to smuggle a huge quantity of narcotics worth millions of rupees in the international market, it is learnt.
According to sources, acting swiftly on a tip-off received by Deputy Collector, Jinnah International Airport Karachi, Departure, Ali Raza Sipra, the Customs authorities intercepted a passenger and recovered a huge quantity of narcotics.
However, the details of the narcotics are being kept secret as the Customs authorities would disclose it in a press conference to be arranged at the Air Freight Unit on Saturday (today).
