SIALKOT: Member Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Inland Revenue (Operations) Dr Irshad will pay surprise visits at all Regional Tax Offices of Punjab soon.
Sources told Customs Today that the visits will be secret. Sources also confirmed that during his visit, Dr. Irshad will review the recovery of tax from defaulters .
He will also get briefings on tax returns filed through Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme (VTCS). Sources said that main purpose of Dr Irshad visit is to examine the measures adopted by the RTOs to enhance revenue. He will also hold a number of meeting with traders and relevant RTO officials.
