LTBA elects Farhan Shahzad president for 2016-17

LAHORE: The Lahore Tax Bar Association (LTBA)  has elected Farhan Shahzad as president for the year 2016-17.

According to unconfirmed results, democratic group’s Farhan Shahzad has secured 764 votes while Rezvi group’s Amir Qadeer secured 530 votes. The democratic group has made a clean sweep by winning all five seats. As many as 1,300 lawyers out of 2,200 voters used their right to vote.

From democratic group Farhan Shahzad contested for the slot of Lahore Tax Bar Association president, Anwar Ismail for general secretary, Farooq Majeed for vice president, finance secretary Athar Naveed Kiani and Kashif Wallayat for joint secretary.

While in Zia Rezvi’s Group, M. Aamir Qadeer contested for the seat of LTBA president, Sufian Umer vice president, Tayyab Warriach general secretary, Wali Muhammad Mayo finance secretary and Atif Anwer Pasreeja for the seat of joint secretary.
