No vehicle auctioned due to exorbitant prices at Customs Intelligence

LAHORE: Not a single vehicle out of 10 was auctioned by Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations. According to details, the Customs authorities put 10 non-customs paid vehicles for sale in the auction held on March 24.

Sources told Customs Today the vehicles were not auctioned due to excessively high prices. Due to the reason that the vehicles were priced more than that of the market prices, the people showed no interest in purchasing any vehicle.

The sources further said that committee that reviewed the prices also did not take any action due the transfer of officers, including additional director Suleman Afzal and others.

The vehicles that were put for auction included Mercedes Benz car, Toyota Lexus car, Toyota Hilux Surf, Mercedes Benz car, Mitsubihi Pajero, Honad Accord car, Honda Civic, Toyota Crown car.
