Director Enforcement Yaqoob Mako for beefing up security at borders

KARACHI: Director Customs Intelligence-Enforcement Muhammad Yaqoob Mako, while chairing a high level meeting, has ordered to tighten the security at the boarders of the Sindh region.

The Director Customs Intelligence Enforcement has asked the officers to beef up security measures and increase surveillance of the bordering areas to curb smuggling and to stop illegal boarder crossing.

According to the source, after the blast that killed 74 people and injured more than 150 people last Sunday in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, all the law enforcement agencies and security forces have been told be vigilant for the security of the the country.

The officers are strictly ordered to carry out day and night operations, take action against any suspicious activity, break the nexus of all crime including the arrest of any culprit involve in heinous crime.

The high level meeting was also attended by Deputy Director Amjed Rajper, Additional Director Farrukh Sajjad, Assistant Director Arsalan Ghorchani and other.
