Quetta Customs Intelligence seizes 300 sacks of fertilizers

KARACHI: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation, Quetta, has foiled a bid to smuggle a huge quantity of fertilizers to Afghanistan, besides recovering smuggled plastic granules during another action.

The Quetta Customs Intelligence received information that a huge quantity of fertilizers would be smuggled to Afghanistan on which the director formed a team headed by Deputy Director Inamullah.

The team intercepted a truck near Pakistan-Afghanistan border and recovered 300 sacks of fertilizers. The officials asked the driver to show documents regarding its legal export but he failed; therefore, the officials confiscated the items and registered a case against the accused.

Meanwhile, the Customs intelligence seized more than 60 sacks of smuggled plastic granules while raiding a godwon in Panjgor.
