Panama Leaks: LHC admits plea against prime minister, Imran, Shujaat, Sethi, others

LAHORE: Justice Shahid Waheed of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has admitted a petition for regular hearing filed by a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Gohar Nawaz Sindhu.

Sources informed Customs Today that Sindhu moved the plea against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz, Hassan Nawaz, Maryam Nawaz, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Imran Khan, Chaudhary Pervez Elahi, Najam Sethi and 64 other politicians.

In his petition, Gohar Nawaz said that prime minister and his family members are involved in Panama Leaks  and they transferred a huge amount outside the country. He said that there are two off-shore companies owned by the prime minister.

He said that the prime minister concealed actual factors in his nomination papers. He urged that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should also hold an inquiry into the allegations against the prime minister.
