FBR recovers Rs 26.7 million from Majid Group of Companies

KARACHI: Thee Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has recovered Rs 26.7 million from six factories of the Majeed Group of Companies which are located in Mirpurkhas and were allegedly involved in tax evasion.

Sources informed Customs Today that the FBR issued them many notices, asking them to clear outstanding tax dues but these factories were avoiding to pay taxes. Sources informed that an FBR team recently visited Mirpurkhas and urged its owner Mumtaz Khaskheli to clear pending tax dues within one month otherwise his company’s bank accounts will be seized.
