Three division benches of IHC will hear several tax references today

ISLAMABAD: Three division benches of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear several tax references involving Customs Appellate Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR) on Tuesday.

A divisional bench of the IHC comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb would hear three references, out of which two were field against ATIR and one against Customs Appellate Tribunal.

M/s Gadoon Synthetic Mills and Mohammad Javed had challenged Customs Appellate Tribunal decisions before the court. The bench would also hear Commissioner of Inland Revenue’s reference filed against Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue.

Another bench comprising of Justice Noorul Haq N Qureshi and Justice Athar Minallah would hear a customs reference filed against Customs Appellate Tribunal by Khawar Zaman. Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani will hear a reference, filed by Muhammad Shahzad Aslam, challenging Custom Appellate Tribunal decision through Advocate Zubair Aslam Ghumman.
