Customs Adjudication-I sends budget proposals to FBR HQ

KARACHI: The Collectorate of Customs Adjudication-I has sent budget proposals to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Headquarters.

The sources informed Customs Today that the Collectorate of Customs Adjudication-I, in its budget proposals, highlighted the shortage of permanent staff for the Collectorate.

The sources said that the Collectorate had requested the FBR to formulate a mechanism through which the customs officials could get proper training in order to handle the technicalities of the adjudication process.

The sources further informed that the Collectorate of Customs Adjudication-I has also forwarded a list to reward the officials.

“The Collectorate with the approval of the collector Abdul Basit Chaudhry has sent a list of around 27 officials and 12 staff members to reward them for showing good performance during the fiscal year 2015-16,” sources added.
