Multan Customs Intelligence seizes 32,000 litres diesel, oil tanker

MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized 32,000 litres of diesel along with oil tanker during an action.

According to the details, a team of Customs Intelligence intercepted an oil tanker near Sakhi Sarwar check post, Dera Ghazi Khan. The container was carrying 32,000 litres of diesel.

The officials asked the driver to show documents regarding the customs clearance of the items on which he provided goods declaration showing the quantity as 20,000 litres. The officials confiscated the diesel and oil tanker after finding difference in declared quantity.

For further investigations, the officials have also drawn samples to verify specification of diesel. The total value of the detained diesel is almost Rs 2.5 million and net value of the oil tanker is Rs 2 million.
