RTO deploys monitoring team in Mocca Coffee restaurant

ISLAMABAD: Assistant commissioner Regional Tax Office Zone-III Zehra Farooq has deputed a monitoring team in Mocca Coffee restaurant for three days.

Sources informed Customs Today that the RTO team will monitor daily sale of the renowned restaurant from 9.30am to 12.30am. During their deputation, the team will examine all the sales invoices of the restaurant. The RTO took this action after taking directions from chief commissioner RTO Islamabad.

The team will work in two shifts one shift will work from 9am to 5pm while the other team will perform its duties from 5pm to 12.39am. The monitoring team will comprise Inland Revenue officers Raja Abid Ali, Rizwan Jillani, Khalid Zia, Mirza Asif, Ashraf Khan, Saqib Malik, Abdul Basit, Malik Naseer and Mohammad Arif. During their stay in the restaurant, the team will try to detect tax evasion.
