MULTAN: The Multan Customs has seized five bottles of alcohol upon search of a passenger’s luggage at Multan International Airport. The passengers was coming from Dubai. Due to strict checking of goods at the airport, an unidentified passenger dropped his hand bag near the conveyor belt of the scanning machine.
The customs squad noticed that a bag was lying near the conveyor belt and tried to trace its owner but no one claimed its ownership. Later, the officials took the bag into custody and examined it through scanning machine, which identified liquor bottles in the bag. The owner of the bag could not be arrested as he fled from the airport.
