Two FST benches adjourn hearings of eight cases filed by FBR employees

ISLAMABAD: Two division benches of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Wednesday heard and adjourned eight cases carrying complaints against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Syed Muhammad Hamid heard the cases filed by Muhammad Faqir, Sirajuddin, Muhammad Khalid, Riaz Ahmed, Khalid Akhtar, Suhail Ahmed, Muhammad Tariq and Abdul Hameed.

All of these appellants had raised matters of their promotion before the tribunal wherein they had sought directions for the FBR to award them their due promotions and scales in the department.

Another bench of the FST comprising Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Rafique Hussain Shah heard a case filed by Muhammad Zahir Jan in which he had submitted a plea about “seniority”. The bench adjourned the hearing of this case for month of July.
