Quetta Customs Intelligence confiscates items worth Rs 9m

KARACHI: The Quetta Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized non-customs paid air-conditions and room coolers worth Rs 9 million.

The Customs Intelligence Directorate received information that a huge quantity of air-conditions and room coolers will be supplied to out of the city. Subsequently, a team was formed which started checking in the area of Panjgur and intercepted a container and recovered 120 non-customs paid air-conditions and 50 room coolers. The team immediately arrested the accused and confiscated the smuggled items.
