BEIJING: Hangzhou Customs published a power bank infringement case. Identified by related Intellectual Property Right holders, 1500 power banks were seized by Yiwu Customs House (affiliated to Hangzhou Customs District) at the small commodity export channel, which infringed on the trademarks of “HUAWEI” and “SONY”. And the Customs legally detained this batch of goods for formal investigation.

According to Ye Hang, an IPR Section officer of Yiwu Customs, those infringing power banks were poorly made at low cost and may short out or overheat in use.
