FIA arrests three human trafficers from different regions of Punjab

SIALKOT: A team of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Gujranwala division, has arrested three human traffickers-cum-proclaimed offenders during different raids.

Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Director FIA Gujranwala Khalid Anees formed a team under the supervision of station house officer Waqar Awan to arrest human traffickers-cum-proclaimed offenders.

The team raided Gujrat and Sialkot and arrested three human traffickers who were identified as Nadeem Butt, Azhar and Mehar Iqbal.

The accused were involved in sending innocenet people abroad after extorting huge amounts from them. They sent a lot of persons to Turkey, Greece and Japan on fake visas and documents.

The team raided homes of the accused on an information of informers. The team recovered fake visas, stamps and documents. The FIA has registered cases against the accused and further investigations are underway.
