Superintendent Mansoor reinstated

ISLAMABAD: Mansoor Ahmad, posted as Superintendent Preventive Service at Karachi Customs House, has been reinstated into service with immediate effect.

The officer was dismissed from service with effect from June 25, 2002 vide Board’s Notification No.232-M-III/2003 dated 07.04.2003 in terms of Rule 3A of the Removal from Service (Special Powers) Ordinance, 2000 due to his conviction by the Sindh Accountability Court, Karachi vide judgment dated 25.06.2002 in NAB Reference No.45/2001.

Now, in pursuance of the Sindh High Court’s judgment dated November 18, 2015, setting aside the Accountability Court Order, Mansoor Ahmad has been reinstated into service.

The intervening period from the date of his dismissal till reinstatement will be treated as spent on duty for the purpose of drawl of salary as admissible under the Rules.
