Customs seizes two car engines, air fresheners

SIALKOT: The Customs Anti Smuggling Organisation (ASO) has seized two car engines and some air fresheners worth Rs 200,000 during an action.

ASO Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Chaudhary informed Customs Today that he was checking vehicles along with his team on Grand Trunk (GT) road and intercepted a suspicious van.

During the checking process, the team recovered two Malaysia origin engines used for vehicles and some air fresheners. The team asked the driver about documents regarding legal import of the recovered items but he remained fail to do the same.

The team captured the items under custom laws and shifted the same to the customs warehouse.
