Commissioner IR Amir Talpur restores registration of M/s Haris Enterprises

ISLAMABAD: Commissioner Inland Revenue Regional Tax Office (RTO) Amir Ali Khan Talpur restored sales tax registration of M/s Haris Enterprises after payment outstanding tax amount.

Sources told Customs Today that during audit of tax statement it was revealed that M/s. Haris Enterprises involved in tax evasion of Rs 9,34,361. After which commissioner Inland Revenue suspended the sales tax registration of M/s Haris Enterprises in May 2015. In March 2016 M/s Haris Enterprises moved a petition asking to clearing outstanding tax amount in instalments.

The above said company paid first instalment of Rs 2,77,137 to FBR and submitted a copy of deposit slip to commissioner IR requesting him to restore company sales tax registration. After reviewing the case commissioner directs to restore registration of M/s Haris Enterprises.
