ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has banned transfers and postings of the officials in the field formations until June 30, 2016.
Sources told Customs Today that secretary, MIR II FBR Waqas Aslam has issued a notification, informing all the chief commissioners , collectors and director generals about the board decision in this regard.
The notification says that due to the last quarter of the current financial year, it has been decided that no transfers or postings of the employees in the field formations of the FBR will be made until June 30, 2016. In cases of extreme necessity, the head of department concerned may seek board’s approval for transfer or adjustment, the notification concluded as saying.
