Microsoft E3 2016 plans revealed to the public

CALIFORNIA: With Microsoft having a very strong-looking lineup this year, they’ve already released the Microsoft E3 2016 plans that they’ll be using to work the video game conference when it begins in the middle of June this summer.

Microsoft has had various announcements in the past few months that have bubbled up a large amount of hype among gamers, ranging from the upcoming Gears of War 4, to Sea of Thieves, Forza, Halo Wars 2, and Crackdown 3, all of which will be coming from Microsoft studios and will possibly break up the dearth of exclusivity that the Xbox One has suffered since its beginning.

Microsoft will be hosting three different streams during its segments of the conference, one on each day of the three-day event. The Tuesday stream will be running for four hours from noon to 4 o’clock Pacific Time, the Wednesday stream from 10 AM to 4 PM, and the Thursday stream from 10 AM to 5 PM. Microsoft will also be airing their E3 conference on Spike TV, and will be streaming it to Xbox and on the Xbox.com website.

Microsoft will even be doing its own version of the popular “Treehouse” stream, showing off breaking news, interviews, and gameplay with developers that have gotten booths at E3.

Microsoft E3 2016 plans also include working with PC games, the first time the company has mentioned the PC for E3 at all. The previous year’s E3 had also included a PC segment, but rather than a game conference that had shown trailers and gameplay previews that had just been something like a talk show, so hopefully Microsoft doesn’t do that.

What we do know or at least have inklings of is that Microsoft will have a lot to preview at their conferences. We may get a peek of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for instance, alongside Gears of War 4 and the others, and there’s also rumors that we’ll be getting a newer, slimmer version of the Xbox One much like the slim Xbox 360 from the previous generation.
