KARACHI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Karachi region has recovered a huge quantity of narcotics during a raid here.
Sources told Customs Today that Incharge ANF West Saleem Sarohi received information that an attempt will be made to smuggle a huge quantity of narcotics, which will be dumped in a godown located near Habib Bank Chowrangi of SITE area.
The ANF team raided the godown and seized 500 kilograms of fine quality charas, 500 bottles of foreign liquor and 8 kilograms of opium. The ANF team arrested three persons which were present in the godown. Sources said all the arrested persons admitted their involvement in sale and purchase of narcotics. Further proceedings are still underway till the filing of this report.
