KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange Thursday opened negative with 21.94 points loss as benchmark 100-index dropped to 36244.29 points level in early trading.
On Wednesday, the stock market benchmark KSE 100-share Index closed flat with a gain of 1.11 points to close at 36,266.23 points. The highest index of the day remained at 36,412.84 points while the lowest level of the day was recorded at 36,230.25 points.
However, turnover increased by 19 million shares to 300.98 million shares, trading value improved to Rs12.11 billion against Rs11.89 billion while market capital remained flat at Rs7.43 trillion. Of a total of 365 companies’ active in the session, 169 recorded in green, 163 in red while 33 remained unchanged.
