Customs issues notice to M/s Rainbow Industry to deposit short paid tax amount ‏

MULTAN: The Customs Collectorate has issued notice to defaulter M/s Rainbow Industry Multan for the payment of outstanding amount Rs 828,988.

According to details, Rainbow Industry Multan had imported old and used machinery for its textile mills a few years ago and they claimed concessions on import of their machinery at the time of clearance.

The Customs collectorate have detected less payment of taxes during the audit of their cleared consignment and they have found that Rainbow Industries Multan have outstanding amount of Rs 473,145 and Rs355,855 in their two import consignments.

Multan customs have issued them notice for the payment of their outstanding amount immediately to clear their remaining dues and if they failed to do customs Multan will take strict action against the said importer by attaching their moveable and immoveable properties for the collection of taxes .

The Customs Collectorate Multan is recovering outstanding amount from importers for the collection of assigned revenue target from Federal Board of Revenue.
