Additional Collector Saima Aftab issues two ONOs

FAISALABAD: Additional Collector Adjudication Saima Aftab has issued two Orders-in-Origin (ONOs) in favor of the Customs Intelligence and Field Intelligence Unit Khushab.

Sources told Customs Today that one OnO was issued in favour of the Customs Intelligence and Investigations while the other was issued in favour of the Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) Khushab. A Customs team intercepted a non-duty paid Toyota Fielder car bearing registration No. AAL- 910 (Quetta) near Chasma Bridge Mainwali. The owners of the vehicle, who was identified as Zahir Gul son of Khasta Gul, failed to produce legal documents regarding the possession of the vehicle.

the Field investigation Unit (FIU), Khushab, intercepted a Honda Civic car registration no. AAJ-834 model 2005. The owner of the vehicle who was identified as Riazuddin son of Jamaluddin failed to produce legal documents regarding ownership of the car.

During the case proceedings, it was proved that the two vehicle  were brought into the country without payment of customs duty and taxes and owners had failed to produce any legal documents regarding possession of these items. Customs Adjudication Collector Saima Aftab, after hearing the arguments, issued ONO in favour of the Customs Intelligence and FIU Khushab.
