LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling on Monday heard 14 different cases, including pre-arrest bail pleas, besides recording statements of the witnesses in many cases.
The Customs Court adjourned the pre-arrest bail pleas filed by Abdul Razzaq, Sayed Jahanzaib Bukhari, Shakeel Ahmad and Khuram Shehzad in tax evasion and smuggling cases. The court also adjourned the post-arrest bail plea of Sayed Aleem in a smuggling case.
The cases of tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics were scheduled for the day. A case against Hassan Zaib was also scheduled in which statements of witnesses were recorded to reach a final decion.
The court also heard the cases of Muhammad Shahid, Nazir Kazmi, Muhammad Iqbal and Muhammad Toufeeq.
