LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department has waived off penalty on token tax until June to collect more revenues.
According to details, the Excise and Taxation Department has issued a notification to waive off the fine on token tax defaulter vehicles. According to the notification, the vehicle owners who have failed to pay their token tax until now will be able to get a chance to pay their pending amount without any fine. This deadline will stay until start of June.
According to Director General Excise Punjab Akram Ashraf Gondal, the department has taken this initiative to facilitate the citizens to pay their taxes. This notification will be applicable on all categories of vehicles.
