Citizen served notice to vacate occupied camp office of Sialkot Customs

SIALKOT: Revenue department has issued notice to Malik Qalib Abbas to vacate occupied camp office of the Sialkot Customs House within three months.

Reportedly, the camp office situated at District Court Road, Sialkot was property Government of Pakistan after partition. The owner of this property was British Government before the partition and East India Company look after this property. After partition, the Government of Pakistan handed over the property to the Pakistan Customs.

However, a person named Malik Faiz illegally occupied this property and after his death his son Malik Qalib Abbas settled in this building along with his all family members and reluctant to vacate the camp office.

Hence, the customs filed a case in the Supreme Court and learned court decided case in favour of the customs. In the light of decision, the Sialkot Revenue department Sialkot has issued notice to Malik Qalib to vacate property within three months.
