Faisalabad Excise collects Rs 982.1m as property tax

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation collected Rs 982.182 million under the head of property tax  during first ten months of current fiscal year 2015-16 and achieved its annual target Rs 1,301 million up to 75 percent .

It has collected Rs 853.073 from the Faisalabad city against the assigned target of Rs 1,113.704 million, which has been achieved up to 77 percent.

From Jhang, it collected Rs 38.994 million as property tax against the assigned target of Rs 56.886 million and achieved target up to 69 percent.

Meanwhile, the excise generated Rs 39.807 million against the target of Rs 57.438 million from Chiniot achieving target by 69 percent.

From Toba Tek Singh, the department also collected Rs 50.309 million against the target of R 72.973 million achieving target up to 75 percent.
