FBR recovers Rs 5.6m from M/s Alhamra Garments, M/s Qayyum Fabrics

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has recovered Rs 5.6 million in the wake of sales tax from two private companies.

As per details, Regional Tax Office-III (RTO-III) Additional Commissioner Inland Revenue Mustafa Jatoi informed that two private companies including, M/s Alhamra Garments and M/s Qayyum Fabrics and Export deposited the said amount in the wake of sales tax. The RTO-III issued notices to the companies 20 days ago and they submitted their taxes. He further said that M/s Alhamr submitted Rs 2.7 million while M/s Qayyum Fabrics deposited Rs 2.9 million as tax.
