IHC adjourns hearing of tax cases filed against ATIR

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has adjourned the hearing of tax matters involving Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue.

A division bench of the IHC comprising Justice Noor Ul Haq N Qureshi and Justice Athar Minallah heard the income tax matter filed by Fazal Ur Rehman against ATIR and dated the hearing in office.

The appellant had challenged an ATIR decision on income tax recovery before the court in the case. The IHC office would relist the case for rehearing.

Meanwhile, other divisions benches of IHC were cancelled, hence they did not hold hearing of pother cases including the federal excise duty reference filed by M/s CMPak Limited.
