LAHORE: The Pakistan Industrial and Traders Association Front (PIAF) has urged the government to announce special incentives for exporters and traders in budget 2016-17.
PIAF Chairman Irfan Iqbal Shiekh said that due to increase in exports, industries will also grow. He said that low volume of exports is alarming situation for any country.
He appealed to government to present tax free budget for the completion of industrial vision. Irfan Iqbal said that proposals of Rs150 billion will put negative impact on traders. He suggested that government should increase tax net instead of new taxes.
Senior vice chairman PIAF Tanvir Ahmed Sufi and vice president Khawaja Shahzaib said that country’s exports decreased 200 percent that is real threat to national economy. In July to April 2015-16, Pakistan’s deficits reached $19 billion.
