Customs Court approves judicial remand of LED TVs’ smuggler

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has sent a suspect allegedly involved in smuggling of LED TVs to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.

According to the details, Khan Muhammad son of Hashim Khan, a resident of Kharkana Market Jamrud road Peshawar, was arrested by the Lahore Customs Intelligence when he was making an attempt to smuggle 44 LED TV, padlocks, lamps and electronic razors worth Rs 1.2 million involving duty/taxes amounting to Rs 200,000.
