LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman has said that the government is focusing on automation of tax collection procedures to simplify taxation system.
During a meeting with traders on Thursday, he said building up tax payers’ confidence, simplification of tax payment system and creating taxpaying culture were among the top priorities of the government.
He said that the government effectively coping with the terrorism so that the people could get rid of the menace, adding that besides administration, other institutions particularly people and the media would have to play their positive role in this regard.
