Chinese delegations calls on Member Customs Nasir Masroor

ISLAMABAD: A six-member delegation of the General Administration Customs China Urumqi called on Member Customs FBR Nasir Masoor Ahmad in FBR Headquarters. The delegation was headed by Director General Zhao Ge.

During the meeting, Chief Collector North Sarwat Tahira Habib, Chief International Customs Dr Mohammad Zubair, Collector Dr Arsalan Subucatageen, Collector Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Raza, Secretary FBR Jameel Baloch, Additional Collector North Ayesha Wani, Additional Collector Gilgit Baltistan Asdiq Afzal were also present.

Talking to Chinese delegation, Member FBR Nasir Masoor said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project is very important for Pakistan. He said Pakistan considers CPEC project is the backbone of Pakistani economy. He said dry port project at Sust border will be completed on priority basis. He said after approval of PC-I, infrastructure work will be started.

He said Sust border is being considered as gateway of trade between Pakistan and China. He directed Collector Gilgit Baltistan Ali Raza to extend every support in establishment of PC-I. Member Customs Nasir Masroor said that ties between Pakistani and Chinese customs will more strengthened in future.
