ISLAMABAD: The Senate Standing Committee for Ports and Shipping met here under the chairmanship of Senator Mohammad Ali Saif.
Sources told Customs Today that during the meeting, the participants were briefed on various issues, including Karachi Port Trust kutchi abadis. Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Federal Minister Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo, Senator Taj Haider, Nihal Hashmi, Secretary Ministry of Ports and Shipping Khalid Pervaiz, Chairman Gawadar Port Authority Bostan Khan Jamaldini, Chairman Karachi Port Trust Zia A. Siddiqui, Salman Jee, Awais Nauman Kundi and other high ranking officials.
Participants of the meeting extend their felicitation to the newly appointed Minister for Ports and Shipping Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo. They hoped that new minister will resolve all the pending issues of the ministry.
